A Dead Bat in Paraguay
Over the past few weeks I’ve been reading a pre-release copy of Roosh’s “A Dead Bat in Paraguay.”
A departure from his first book, Bang, this work is an autobiographical piece centered on his experiences traveling the length and breadth of South America.
Roosh, like many of us, has a soft spot for the Latinas. Before traveling in South America he thought that picking them up would be a simple matter of extending his US game with perhaps the addition of some rudimentary Spanish skills. To his frustration he learned that the rules of engagement in South America are quite different, both from the US, and between countries there. In his six-month crash course in wooing Latinas, he learned by trial and error what it takes to run effective game on the lovely and voluptuous ladies of Latin America.
This is valuable because many of us suffer from the same misconceptions about what it takes to bed the ladies abroad, and let’s face it, if you plan to invest in a trip to South America, you doubtless want to sample some of the local delicacies along the way. In fact, for many parts of South America I can think of little other incentive to visit. True, there are some ruins and natural splendor to absorb, and great cuisine, but for the most part you’re dealing with third world countries with minimal amenities and few of the luxuries we take for granted. The real draw for me and many other men is the affordability of travel and the chance to bed some of the world’s preeminent beauties. What better reason to travel, eh boys? This book will enlighten you on the subtleties of the culture and ladies in different countries, and save you the time and frustration of learning these lessons the hard way. A few dollars on the front end could mean the difference between being shut-down and blowing your trip without blowing wad, and stellar success by being armed with the knowledge you need in advance.
In addition to the knowledge Roosh shares, the story itself is well written and entertaining. It highlights the experience of South American travel, from the hardships of food-born illness, the hardships and hazards of traveling thousands of miles by rickety bus to the camaraderie of hostel living and the difficulty of getting a genuine cultural experience off the beaten path of the lonely planet travel guide. It’s an enthralling read but an accessible one, not requiring a doctorate in literature to enjoy.
I recommend checking out “A Dead Bat in Paraguay,” you won’t be disappointed.
Enjoy the book.

A friend posted this on Buzz. I tried it just for fun, but I found a lot of quality material here. Thank you! I love it when there are good articles, links and more stuff to to enjoy. Just retweeted it, hope you get some extra visits for that! Have a good week!
Roosh is one of my heroes. But enough with Latin America, he needs to hit Spain, Portugal, Italy and France.
